Different Ways of Giving

Endowment opportunities exist to support any of CHORI's four centers of research or to support the ongoing research of an individual Investigator. Individuals, families, corporations and foundations also have an opportunity to establish endowed chairs. Your endowment assists with recruitment and retention of outstanding basic and clinical researches worldwide. Supporting scientists through endowed chairs helps maintain the excellence of faculty and their work in perpetuity.

Honor/Memorial Gifts
Consider an honor or memorial gift to CHORI as a meaningful way to appreciate someone special. Recognize the accomplishment of a friend, relative, or colleague with a memorial gift. While honoring or memorializing special people in your life, you can join us in making today's research tomorrow's cure.

Gift Planning
Gift planning is a way for you to personally help advance pediatric and adult research, both locally and globally, and achieve your retirement and estate planning goals at the same time. Make CHORI a part of your legacy by including a gift of any size in your will or living Trust. Supplement your retirement income or save taxes years and help CHORI too. Your gift plan will be tailored to meet your financial situation and your vision for the health and wellbeing of our community and its children – now and for years to come.

Direct Gifts
Individuals, corporations or foundations may also give direct gifts to support individual research in specific areas such as cancer and birth defects prevention, genetics, blood diseases, diabetes, vaccine development, blood and marrow transplantation, nutrition and disease prevention. Gifts may also go toward the establishment of educational programs and seminars for scientific and lay audiences.

Naming Opportunities
We have numerous naming opportunities available. Memorialize your family name or foundation to a building; a research lab; lab equipment; bench in one of the four courtyards; bricks/tiles, etc.
