About Us
The Staff and Clinical Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow Association CHORI (SPAC) was founded in 2001 to unite all junior PhD and MD level scientists working at CHORI. SPAC’s purpose is to support career development for its members and to promote interaction between scientists from different laboratories at CHORI.
Any individual with a doctoral degree employed by a Principal Investigator at CHORI, but who not part of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) is automatically a member of SPAC. This includes all Staff Scientists, Clinical Scientists, and postdoctoral fellows.
Call for abstracts!!
CHORI is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a Research symposium on March 31st and SPAC will have a morning session dedicated to short (~10-12 minutes) oral presentations from selected SPAC members. Additionally, SPAC will hold a poster session during the afternoon reception. Click here for abstract submission guidelines. Click here for more details about the symposium.
