If you participate in the Beef Protein Study, you will be required to eat three different diets for three weeks each (for a total of nine weeks). You will have a two week break between each of the three diets, where you will be able to choose the foods that you eat. You will begin by eating a baseline diet that is similar to the normal American diet. After this, you will consume two additional diets, Diets A and B, that will have more protein and less carbohydrate (starch). Diet A and Diet B have different levels of animal fat. For these two diets, you will eat beef several times each day.
